Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. Written in plain language — not legalese.
Last updated: March 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Tradwife Club (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Our website address is https://tradwife.club. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, you can reach us at hello@tradwife.club or through our contact page.
2. What data we collect and why
Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. We use this data solely to respond to your inquiry. Contact form data is stored on our server and is not shared with third parties. We use Contact Form 7 to process these submissions.
Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. We use this data to send you our weekly letter and occasional updates about Tradwife Club. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. Your email is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Community accounts. When you create a Tradwife Club community account, we collect the information you provide during registration — typically your name, email address, username, and any profile details you choose to share. This data is used to operate the community platform and enable you to connect with other members. Your profile information is visible to other community members as you configure it.
Comments. If you leave a comment on a blog post, we collect the data shown in the comment form, your IP address, and browser user agent string. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to display your profile image. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Cookies. We use cookies to operate the site. For full details, please see our Cookie Policy.
Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site — such as which pages are most popular and how people find us. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We do not use Google Analytics or any tool that tracks individual users across the web.
Server logs. Like all websites, our hosting server automatically collects basic access log data including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This data is used for security and troubleshooting purposes and is automatically deleted after 30 days.
3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
Consent — when you subscribe to our newsletter, create a community account, or submit a contact form, you consent to the processing of your data for the stated purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate interest — we have a legitimate interest in operating our website, improving our content, and ensuring the security of our platform. This includes processing server logs and aggregated analytics.
Contractual necessity — if you create a community account, processing your data is necessary to provide you with the community services you registered for.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone. Period.
We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the site — such as our hosting provider, email delivery service, and community platform. These providers process data solely on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your information. They include:
Our web hosting provider (for server infrastructure), our email service provider (for newsletter delivery), and our community platform provider (if applicable). We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
5. How long we keep your data
Contact form submissions: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
Newsletter subscriptions: retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Upon unsubscribing, your email is removed from our mailing list within 30 days.
Community accounts: retained for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
Comments: retained indefinitely so that we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, unless you request deletion.
Server logs: automatically deleted after 30 days.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or any jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have the right to:
Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data.
Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tradwife.club. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our site uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) for all connections. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s privacy
Tradwife Club is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Third-party links
Our site may contain links to external websites (such as book recommendations, brand websites, or social media platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
